UNIVEST Grand Prix, Souderton, PA (18SEPT04)

Saturday's Road Race
Stephane Bonsergent takes the victory!
French/Belgium final sprint (Bonsergent and Pascal Lievens).
First American, Michael Lange.
Top young rider, Ryan Roth.
I believe this is the Top 'local' rider, Russ Langley.
I've been corrected (thanks Aaron),: Ryan McKinney.
Pascal Lievens took second for the day/
Kevin Maene took third.
Looks like Cameron Hughes and Joe Papp.

The pack coming up through the start/finish area.
The group in the same region.
A couple hearty fans.
Chronologically mis-listed, the start.
My slow shutter speed sample.
Why not again...
okay, one more...enough.

Stephane Bonsergent and Pascal Lievens with the color curves of the image tinkered with.
Stephane Bonsergent.
Stephane Bonsergent.
Men's podium with a fogged up lens.

Women's crit winner, on an extended solo venture, Kori Kelly.
Team-mate Laura van Gilder eventually took the group sprint for second.
Women's podium, long before the lens fogging.

Sunday's Criterium (Doylestown, PA)
Dark and damp skies led into a sunny and beautiful day for the Sunday crit in Doylestown.
Appears to be Sunday's crit winner, Chad Hartley.
The un-sunned Michelen Man with Chad Hartley.
The crowd looking on, late in the race.
The all too distant view of the sprint to the finish.
Joe Papp would end up second by the width of a tire.
In the leader's jersey, an aggressive Stephane Bonsergent would take third.
Adam Hodges-Myerson would just miss out on the podium with a 4th place finish.

I'll still try to squeeze a few more in...

The remnants of Ivan did not dampen the thrill of the race.
